Job Description
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Gather, compile, and review supporting information to create loan packets and support the loan closing team
- Ensure legal documents are accurate and comply with all requirements
- Upload, submit, and distribute documents appropriately
- Ensure image files are prepared for presentation in external and internal audits
- Update tracking systems to ensure receipt of documents
- Consider all potential risks and escalate to management as necessary
- View reports assisting closers in obtaining proper closing documentation
- Perform loan transaction analysis and resolve any compliance issues
- Handle routine administration of loan accounts (including the setup of automatic loan payments, monitoring, and follow-ups)
- Stay up to date with bank procedures, compliance training, and Federal and/or State credentials
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- An associate degree in a related field preferred
- 2+ years' experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
- Proficient in identifying and reviewing financial documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of loan documentation, financial data, and insurance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
