Job Description
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Greet and register patients as they arrive
- Answer phones and route calls to the appropriate party
- Assist parents/children in the reception area
- Verify eligibility and insurance information
- Collect credit card/co-pay information
- Fax/file/scan necessary paperwork
- Communicate with the clinical staff
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a receptionist in a healthcare environment
- A professional and friendly demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as electronic health records (eCW preferred)
