Job Description
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Work with market-leading companies on complex mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, initial public offering readiness, interim management, and various technical accounting matters
- Assist with preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual financial statements and SEC filings
- Assist with developing financial models, forecasts, and related analyses
- Assist with designing and implementing business process improvement
- Act as a liaison between clients and their auditors
- Perform day-to-day analyses and work on engagements and build client relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; advanced degree preferred (CPA or MBA)
- 2+ years of public accounting experience
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or SEC reporting
- Willingness to tackle complex problems, applying analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality client service
- Capable of managing multiple client engagements simultaneously
- Willingness to travel to client locations, including occasional overnight travel
- Team-oriented with strong desire to contribute to the growth and success of the firm
