Job Description

Title: Human Resource Trainer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement learning and development programs that address the needs of the organization and support employee growth from onboarding through to leadership.
  • Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of existing training programs, leveraging gap analyses and industry best practices.
  • Develop and deliver a range of training materials and sessions, including group presentations, e-learning modules, and interactive workshops.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external institutions to develop and facilitate training opportunities.
  • Manage the Employee Tuition Assistance Program, ensuring the alignment of educational support with organizational goals.
  • Maintain an agency-wide training calendar, organizing all logistics such as venue bookings, material preparation, and participant communications.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and management to integrate comprehensive development programs into the employee lifecycle.
  • Handle administrative tasks associated with training delivery, including budget management and invoice processing.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum three years in training and development or a similar role within human resources.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite; familiarity with Yardi, ADP, or other HRIS systems is advantageous.
  • Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively delivering training and engaging with staff at all levels. Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
