Job Description
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Act as liaison between the company and the public on financial matters
- Maintain and develop a positive public image for the organization
- Create and manage a strong reputation with clear communications between internal and external parties
- Manage equity research and investor relationships
- Oversee and manage quarterly and annual shareholder reports
- Provide insight on market activity and present to the leadership team
- Partner with internal stakeholders to communicate the company strategy and market perception
- Review, collect, and present any feedback to the company on investor perceptions and opinions
- Develop effective communication, including the facilitation of financial analysis meetings, answering any questions that may arise, and arranging press coverage
- Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters
- Perform administrative duties to support IR effort, including mailings, database maintenance, quarterly filings, proxy & annual reports, and analyses as needed
- Participate in creating investment messages in collaboration with management and other internal groups
- Research and provide appropriate updates in response to special requests from management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- At least five years of relevant business experience required
- Ability to convert complex financial information into understandable text
- Familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods
- Deep knowledge and understanding of capital markets
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with excellent leadership and follow-through skills
