Job Description

Responsibilities/Job Duties: 

  • Act as liaison between the company and the public on financial matters 
  • Maintain and develop a positive public image for the organization 
  • Create and manage a strong reputation with clear communications between internal and external parties 
  • Manage equity research and investor relationships 
  • Oversee and manage quarterly and annual shareholder reports 
  • Provide insight on market activity and present to the leadership team 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to communicate the company strategy and market perception 
  • Review, collect, and present any feedback to the company on investor perceptions and opinions 
  • Develop effective communication, including the facilitation of financial analysis meetings, answering any questions that may arise, and arranging press coverage 
  • Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters 
  • Perform administrative duties to support IR effort, including mailings, database maintenance, quarterly filings, proxy & annual reports, and analyses as needed 
  • Participate in creating investment messages in collaboration with management and other internal groups 
  • Research and provide appropriate updates in response to special requests from management 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 
  • At least five years of relevant business experience required 
  • Ability to convert complex financial information into understandable text 
  • Familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods 
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of capital markets 
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines 
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills 
  • Self-starter with excellent leadership and follow-through skills
