Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Design and execute new drug therapies and candidates using natural or man-made ingredients. 
  • Using molecular biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, or medicinal chemistry, study drug mechanisms and assess their potential efficacy and safety. 
  • Conduct scientific research to identify and identify drug targets.  
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data to guide further compound optimization. 
  • Determine the most effective formulation and dosage for specific drugs. 
  • Plan and oversee preclinical studies and toxicology studies. 
  • Ensure consistent quality of prescription medications. 
  • Analyze experimental data using statistical methods and relevant software tools. 
  • Interpret and present scientific findings to internal teams, management, and external stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate with other teams of chemists, biologists, clinicians, regulatory affairs to achieve project goals. 
  • Assist in improving and assessing the manufacturing drug process. 

Qualifications: 

  • Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., pharmacology, biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences). 
  • Expertise in drug discovery and development processes. 
  • Experience in conducting laboratory experiments and applying relevant techniques and technologies. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and scientific software tools. 
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey scientific concepts and research findings. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. 
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
