    Long Island-based, professional services company seeks an administrative assistant to join them on a temporary basis.

Job Description

Duties

  • Greet and direct visitors, as well as answer and screen calls, and handle incoming mail 
  • Perform various administrative activities, including data entry, filing, scheduling, etc. 
  • Assist other department staff and admin with projects and events as requested 
  • Help draft, edit, and proofread correspondences and other documents 

 

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience as a secretary and/or administrative assistant 
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Good interpersonal communication and writing skills 
  • Ability to work independently and quickly while prioritizing different projects 
  • Must be able to lift/move, push and pull objects up to 10-15 lbs.
