Job Description
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for burn patients. You will offer guidance to team members by supervising nursing interventions and assigning related tasks.
- You will also assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education and promote effective working relationships.
- This involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions.
Qualifications:
- Current RN / Registered Nurse license and registration
- CPR certification
- BSN, ACLS, BLS, PALS
- 2 yrs experience in Burns preferred, but will take 2 years Critical Care in lieu of Burn experience
- Burn Center is split between critical care and burn med-surg; will likely work most of the shifts in the MS unit due to census; Occasionally float to MICU/Tele/MS
- Meditech experience required
