IT Project manager
The Project Manager I supervises small and medium project requests that are shorter in duration and complexity than that of a Project Manager II or III. The project manager I will manage and coordinate project tasks, team members and processes, to keep projects running smoothly, within budget without compromising quality and ensuring compliant implementations. The individual will assist the Project Manager II or III on project efforts as required. Primary goal is to exceed customer’s expectations while meeting all business requirements
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects
- Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project
- Assist in the development and identification of customer requirements, project planning, cost proposals, budgets and schedules in conjunction with business partners and customers.
- Will coordinate project tasks, team members and processes.
- Assist in the management of projects, ensuring that requirements (e.g., time, budget, checkpoints, project reporting, testing, capability and effectiveness of deliverables) are met.
- Ensure that IT project teams have sufficient resources and documentation to complete any given project.
- Adapt IT project plans (and adjust budgets) as needed, to account for problems as they occur.
- Oversees all functions related to project procurement, distribution and implementation.
- Maintain and provide Project reporting status updates to internal leadership team as well as Customer interactions as appropriate.
- Additional administrative duties as needed.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
