Hedge Fund Operations Specialist

Duties:

• Reconcile daily trades, investment positions, and cash balances with external parties, including banks, prime brokers, counterparties, and custodians  

 Resolve settlement breaks for cash securities, including equities, bonds, and listed options  

• Run firm’s end of day PNL process and have ability to recognize issues that may impact PNL

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required 
• 2-5 years of relevant experience with a hedge fund or sell side middle office with fixed income swaps and derivatives, credit derivatives (CDS)
• Advanced Excel skills with some SQL/programming knowledge 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
