    Large, midtown-based law firm seeks Learning and Development Manager, ideally with 5+ years’ experience in a similar field, to join their team.

Job Description

Duties

  • Manage and operate firm’s learning systems, such as in-person instruction, virtual training, workshops, etc. 
  • Research new technologies and strategies to develop and implement improvements to current learning systems 
  • Collaborate across different departments to help maintain system wide workflow 
  • Assist teams with implementation of strategies  
  • Organize and maintain records and data  
  • Help process and on-board new talent 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree  
  • 5+ years’ experience in similar field 
  • Strong leadership and management skills  
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication (written and verbal) skills 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), as well as familiarity with Webex, Zoom, MS Teams, etc. 
  • Previous experience creating training videos, animations, and online programs 
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multitask assignments and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment 
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively  
  • Must be able to travel to other offices for training, rollouts, and initiatives as needed
