    Connecticut-based professional services office seeks Administrative Assistant, preferably with 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, to join their team.

Job Description

Duties

  • Answer and direct calls, taking messages when appropriate 
  • Manage busy calendars, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, travel, conferences, events, etc. 
  • Help organize and maintain presentable office area 
  • Support leadership with daily operations, including conducting research, preparing meeting documents, filing, scanning, etc.  
  • Arrange travel and submit expenses as needed; identify errors and reconcile discrepancies 
  • Draft, proofread, and edit documents, correspondence, memos, etc. 
  • Process and track expense reports and help reconcile accounts 
  • Assist admin team to ensure smooth workflow 
  • Performing ad hoc projects as needed  

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience supporting C-Level executives 
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) 
  • Good multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize projects effectively 
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) 
  • Approaches each day with a proactive verses reactive mind set. 
  • Notary public strong plus
