Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing (40% of Time):
- Develop and implement procurement strategies particularly for technology and professional services alongside other general corporate purchasing categories.
- Optimize procurement operations to leverage buying power and reduce costs.
- Serve as a key advisor for specific procurement categories, working in collaboration with internal stakeholders to shape category strategies.
- Contracting and Procurement Governance (50% of Time):
- Draft, assess, and negotiate contract terms including MSAs and SOWs, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and legal stipulations.
- Spend Analysis and Vendor Management (10% of Time):
- Perform detailed spend analyses to spot cost-cutting opportunities and aid in financial planning.
- Manage vendor relationships through strategic negotiations and regular performance evaluations based on established KPIs and SLAs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar; an MBA or relevant certifications such as CPSM or CIPS is preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement with a demonstrable track record in a senior capacity, particularly in negotiating contracts for marketing, technology, and professional services.
- Strong skills in negotiation, contract management, and data analysis.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Experienced in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
