Job Description

Responsibilities/Job Duties: 

  • Responsible for architectural project leadership and documentation 
  • Develop and review building plans and schedules 
  • Oversee a large team of contractors and technicians 
  • Prepare construction contracts for general contractors 
  • Estimate fees, determine the scope of work, and prepare proposals 
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and consultants to define project requirements and produce deliverables 
  • Maintain project documentation, estimates, and budgets 
  • Ensure construction meets safety policies and zoning code standards 
  • Monitor progress of projects and assess each phase to ensure deadlines are being met 
  • Serve as primary liaison to bring project completion to clients 
  • Continuously improve knowledge by keeping updated with industry standards 
  • Maintain a positive attitude and relationships with clients and colleagues 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field required 
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in architecture or engineering 
  • Advanced understanding of architectural design processes, construction methods, zoning regulations, and code requirements 
  • Proficiency in using software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit, and Microsoft Suite 
  • Ability to manage schedules and projects and meet tight deadlines 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong creative and technical skills 
  • Ability to create strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors
