Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Lead and Coordinate Development: Will ultimately lead the ongoing development and enhancement of our Smartsheet Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solution. In addition to the traditional Smartsheet capabilities, like sheets, forms, automations, reports, and dashboards, the role will also be involved in setting up and administering Advanced Work Management capabilities in Smartsheet, especially Control Center/Project Intake and Blueprints.
• Reporting and Dashboards: In collaboration with the Portfolio and Program Management team, drive the creation and maintenance of new and updated templates, reports and dashboards to support portfolio, program and project management activities and analytics. May also play a role in managing PPM Sharepoint site updates. Help set & manage task-oriented Smartsheet for each function to manage their activities and feed into dept goals and activities
• Technical Support: Assist team members with technical issues related to project management tools, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Tool/Solution Updates: Regularly update and maintain project management tools to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the organization. Liaise with software makers and other vendors who provide our PPM tools.
Requirements:
o Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, engineering, information systems, computer science, or data analytics.
o Minimum of 3 years of experience working within a pharmaceutical or biotech company in a project management role focused on administration of PPM tools, solutions, and operations.
o Smartsheet certifications (i.e., Core App, Project Management, Control Center, etc.)
o Formal Project Management Training or Certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred but is not required.
o Technical Proficiency: Advanced technical skills in Smartsheet, One Pager, Visio, Excel, and other relevant project management tools.
Advanced proficiency in Smartsheet design, formulas, automated workflows, and conditional formatting.
o Project Management Experience: Extensive experience in project management, with a strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
o Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical issues and improve tool functionality.
o Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively listen to, collaborate with, and design new solutions with team members and stakeholders.
o Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
o Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
