Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain efficient systems for financial reporting and data analysis.
• Manage forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Ensure accuracy in payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Supervise a team including an Accounting Assistant and part-time accounts payable staff, ensuring professional development and high performance.
• Collaborate with senior management to report financial status and implement financial strategies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
• At least 7 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong proficiency in financial software systems like Deltek Vantagepoint and Paylocity.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
