Job Description

Responsibilities/Job Duties: 

  • Work on all phases of projects, from beginning phases to end stages
  • Regularly collaborate and interface with clients
  • Regularly collaborate and interface with Sr. Leadership and Architectural Staff
  • Integrate design and technical skills to produce and deliver construction documents 
  • Responsible for the coordination of project design and drawings, code compliance, and cost of constructability 
  • Prepare drawings and storyboards to outline project tasks, goals, and deadlines and present them to clients in a professional manner 
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop appropriate deliverable structure and necessary tasks for assessing the completion of each stage of the project 
  • Review construction documents and manage quality control activities 
  • Alert the team and/or client when problems arise and make effective decisions to solve them 
  • Assist in the negotiation and development of project agreements and contracts 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field required 
  • At least 5 years of post-graduate experience working in architecture
  • Registered Architect (RA) preferred, not required
  • Strong technical, design, graphic, and presentation skills 
  • Working Proficiency in construction administration procedures 
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Proficient knowledge of all phases of architectural design projects; from project setup, programming, and design, to construction administration 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once 
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, ADA, etc.
