Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with housing applicants, handle certifications, and annual and interim recertifications.
- Negotiate and process rent adjustments and increases in collaboration with property owners.
- Manage detailed records and perform data entry related to housing agreements.
- Provide high-quality customer service to both potential and current tenants as well as landlords.
- Promote the benefits and manage the enrollment of new participants in the housing program.
- Ensure compliance with housing program guidelines and regulations.
- Engage in community outreach to enhance program visibility and participation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in property management or as a leasing consultant.
- Familiarity with Housing Choice Voucher Program, Tax Credit, or other subsidized housing programs is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to provide exceptional service to a diverse clientele.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential.
- Background in compliance within real estate or property management is highly regarded.
