Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Direct the entire cycle of client accounts management, ensuring compliance with legal standards and internal policies.
- Proactively engage with clients to negotiate and secure payments, fostering cooperative relations while ensuring financial obligations are met.
- Conduct detailed financial audits to ensure all accounts are accurate and up to date.
- Generate comprehensive financial status reports, and keep firm leadership informed about collection outcomes and accounts receivable status.
- Work collaboratively with the billing department to identify and resolve discrepancies in client accounts.
- Initiate and lead efforts to refine collection strategies to boost efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Serve as a liaison between the finance department and legal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolve issues related to client billing.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- Minimum of three to five years of experience in finance roles with a strong focus on accounts receivable and client relations, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial software specific to the legal industry, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to maintain professional relationships while managing financial transactions.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
- Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality in all financial matters.
