Job Description

Summary: 

As a medical writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, scientifically sound content for a variety of audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and regulatory bodies. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conducting research and analyzing scientific and medical data to produce accurate and informative content 
  • Writing and developing various types of medical content such as clinical trial reports, regulatory documents, medical manuscripts, scientific posters, and educational materials 
  • Ensuring all written materials meet regulatory and ethical requirements 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including researchers, clinicians, statisticians, and regulatory affairs personnel, to ensure that the content is accurate and aligned with the organization's objectives 
  • Editing and proofreading written documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency 
  • Staying up to date with new research and trends in the healthcare industry and adapting writing style and approach accordingly 
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior medical writers or other team members as needed 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a life sciences field such as biology, pharmacology, or medicine 
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex scientific and medical concepts to a variety of audiences 
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and requirements for medical writing 
  • Experience with medical writing software and tools 
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
