Responsibilities:
- People Management: Set goals for the Finance team, provide support and feedback, and foster a culture of accountability and improvement.
- Financial Strategy & Planning: Lead the development of financial strategies that align with our mission and vision. Manage the financial performance against budgets and projections.
- Budgeting: Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring realistic and comprehensive budgets are developed.
- Capitalization: Manage relationships with lenders to support the organization's financial needs and negotiate terms that align with our objectives.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with applicable financial regulations.
- Financial Operations: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including transaction processing and audits.
- Risk & Compliance: Manage organizational risk and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
- Audit & Tax: Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure proper compliance and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in senior financial management roles.
- Strong strategic planning, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience in non-profit finance, compliance, and risk management is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage complex financial operations and lead a team.
