CFO

Responsibilities:

• People Management: Set goals for the Finance team, provide support and feedback, and foster a culture of accountability and improvement.
• Financial Strategy & Planning: Lead the development of financial strategies that align with our mission and vision. Manage the financial performance against budgets and projections.
• Budgeting: Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring realistic and comprehensive budgets are developed.
• Capitalization: Manage relationships with lenders to support the organization's financial needs and negotiate terms that align with our objectives.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with applicable financial regulations.
• Financial Operations: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including transaction processing and audits.
• Risk & Compliance: Manage organizational risk and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
• Audit & Tax: Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure proper compliance and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in senior financial management roles.
• Strong strategic planning, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience in non-profit finance, compliance, and risk management is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex financial operations and lead a team.
