Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive financial and operational understanding of the business areas, including mission, product offerings, client engagement, and ongoing initiatives.
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting, monitor forecast accuracy, identify the causes of variances, and provide insightful analysis for both current and future forecasting periods.
  • Manage monthly reporting and analytics related to operating expenses and headcount, as well as forecasting activities for support units.
  • Analyze large datasets, extract actionable insights, and provide analytical support to business units to help optimize long-term goals.
  • Support key stakeholders through regular financial activity management, including periodic forecasts and annual planning cycles.
  • Conduct trend and variance analyses, interpreting complex data, and recommend strategic actions to optimize business outcomes.
  • Lead and manage special financial projects with minimal supervision.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in financial planning & analysis, business analytics, or strategic finance roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in organizing and analyzing large data sets, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Well-versed in GAAP and experienced with financial analysis tools for trend and variance reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with data analysis tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx).
  • Experience with large ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, SAP) is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Workday, or similar systems is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a subscription-based business model is preferred
