Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the trade lifecycle, including trade capture, reconciliation, and settlement for various asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives, alternatives).
- Oversee cash and position reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with counterparties, custodians, and brokers to resolve discrepancies and operational issues.
- Support the onboarding of new funds and products, including the development of operational workflows.
- Maintain and enhance operational procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare and analyze reports on operational metrics, performance, and risk exposures.
- Collaborate with other teams, including portfolio management, compliance, and risk management, to support overall fund operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in hedge fund operations or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of various asset classes and their operational processes.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Excel, trade management systems).
