Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Source candidates by reviewing resumes and applications 
  • Manage job boards & postings, internet employment resources, cold calling, networking, newspapers, and employee referrals 
  • Initiate initial communications with interested applicants 
  • Schedule and conduct phone screenings and interviews using reliable recruiting techniques 
  • Assess candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and personality through basic interview principles 
  • Prepare hiring manager with necessary information to continue interview process 
  • Cross check professional and personal references 
  • Perform background checks when necessary 
  • Extend offers to the selected candidates and prepare new hire paperwork 
  • Conduct new hiring onboarding, including compensation packages 
  • Maintain record of activity via the talent applicant system 

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required 
  • Experience in either a recruiting or corporate environment 
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews 
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills 
  • Excellent project management skills 
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS) 
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to work with all levels of management 
  • Strong decision-making skills
