Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop long and short-term forecasts and analysis of historical performance for CPC overall and its individual businesses. 
  • Prepare presentations outlining both financial findings and other critical analyses supporting recommendations to senior management. 
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports incorporating key performance metrics for each business line that are presented to senior management. 
  • Work with members of the Financial Planning team to prepare the annual budget assumptions, model, and presentation. 
  • Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to management. 
  • Work with all areas of the business to provide analytical support and recommendations on how various units/markets are performing, based on data received. 
  • Participate in other Finance department or Corporate Finance projects, including significant Capital Raising initiatives. 
  • Perform other administrative duties, as directed in support of the Finance function. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS in a related field 
  • A minimum of 3 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in a real estate, consulting, or banking environment. 
  • Must be self-motivated, as a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects with a high degree of ambiguity in a fast-paced setting. 
  • Familiarity with a variety of financial planning concepts, practices, and procedures 
  • Strong modeling skills. 
  • Advanced Excel skills together with a strong proficiency in PowerPoint is required. 
  • Detail-orientated with good communication skills
