Job Summary: We are seeking a Portfolio Administration Professional to join our investment operations team. This role will focus on the administration and oversight of investment portfolios across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of portfolio management processes, with experience in systems like Advent, Charles River, and Sec APL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily portfolio administration tasks, including trade settlement, position reconciliation, and cash management across various asset classes.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to portfolio accounting systems (e.g., Advent, Charles River, Sec APL) and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with investment teams to support trade execution, ensuring adherence to investment guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and distribute portfolio performance reports and client statements, highlighting key metrics and insights.
- Monitor corporate actions, dividend payments, and interest accruals to ensure accurate portfolio valuations.
- Assist in the onboarding of new funds and products, developing and implementing necessary administrative processes.
- Maintain and enhance documentation related to portfolio administration processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Private Credit portfolio administration or operations within financial services.
- Strong understanding of various asset classes and portfolio management practices.
- Proficiency in portfolio management software, including Advent, Charles River, and Sec APL; advanced Excel skills are a must
