Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Proactively prepare and analyze financial data 
  • Manage, develop, and create standardized monthly financial reporting for the CFO and leadership team that will help drive and support the business 
  • Provide meaningful analytics and eliminate existing deliverables that do not drive material business decisions 
  • Understand and provide thoughtful business-driven commentary to reporting used for P&L management 
  • Present budgeting and planning insight that makes a difference in a growing business 
  • Execute financial process improvements by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modeling 
  • Identify and create opportunities for automation and more efficient methods of creation and delivery 
  • Review, prepare, and consolidate standard analytics and reporting on firm scheduled deadlines 
  • Escalate analysis and key findings to leadership 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 
  • 5-10 years of FP&A experience 
  • Experience developing financial models at a growing company 
  • In-depth practical knowledge of financial analysis techniques and methodologies 
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) 
  • Strong budget building and forecasting skills 
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Problem solver with strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines while multi-tasking on a variety of initiatives 
  • Extensive financial modeling and Microsoft Excel experience 
  • Working knowledge of financial software tools
