Schedule: 8a-4p, 5 days per week with Rotating weekends (flexible)

Responsibilities:

• Informs patient briefly of procedure
• Performs echocardiograms in accordance with current practice and ASE guidelines
• Perform stress-echocardiograms in accordance with current practice and ASE guidelines
• Assist in performance of Transesophageal echos in accordance with current practice and ASE guidelines
• Adapts to changes in workload or procedures as necessary
• Maintain equipment and stocking supplies as well as informing your supervisor of any technical concern
• Maintain examination area for patients testing area in accordance with current practice and ASE guidelines
• Maintain written daily procedure log, enters initial patient information into the computer system and computerization of echo data
• Participate in Divisional and in-service meeting
• Inform cardiologist of any concerns that is felt to be urgent or emergent
• Liaison with Laboratory Supervisor to adjust schedules to accommodate stat orders, new admissions, etc
• to prioritize test to achieve maximum efficiency
• Performs other related and appropriate duties as indicated or assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and RCDS education and certification
