Senior Project Accountant

Responsibilities/Job Duties: 

• Organizing and updating accounting records 
• Managing ledger reconciliation and accounts payable/receivable 
• Analyzing transactions and preparing reports 
• Developing advantageous methods to save money 
• Overseeing budget and financial management 
• Preparing financial reports for compliance and reviewing the company's financial status to ensure there are no discrepancies 
• Collaborating with Tax Accountants to track tax payments and returns 
• Reviewing and approving annual reports due to the Securities and Exchange Commission 
• Conducting internal audits 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance 
• Minimum of 3 years experience of working on a Certified Public Accountant or Senior Accountant position 
• CPA required 
• Proficient tax knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations 
• Advanced MS Excel knowledge, specifically familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables 
• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
