Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with urological conditions such as kidney stones, urinary tract infections, bladder issues, and prostate problems.
  • Surgical Procedures: Perform surgeries related to the urinary tract and male reproductive system, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds, X-rays, and cystoscopies.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle recommendations, and surgical interventions.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Provide consultations to other medical professionals and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about urological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Research and Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in urology and participate in clinical research and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a residency in urology.
  • Board certification in urology.
  • Valid state medical license.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in using medical and diagnostic equipment.

Work Environment:
