Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed reviews of both commercial and consumer loan files to verify documentation accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage and track exceptions in documentation, employing a sophisticated tracking system for ongoing oversight.
  • Oversee the handling and management of collateral documents, ensuring thorough review processes before releasing any collateral.
  • Maintain precise records in the document management system, ensuring all loan-related documentation is correctly indexed and stored.
  • Manage all aspects of UCC filings, including initial filings, continuations, and terminations, maintaining accurate records and compliance.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of legal and insurance documents to ensure full compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address any discrepancies or issues in documentation and facilitate problem resolution.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and projects, contributing to the overall objectives of the loan administration team.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in loan documentation or post-closing within a commercial banking environment.
  • Strong understanding of commercial loan processes and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in using specialized loan documentation and tracking systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
