Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and prepare comprehensive reports to support decision-making processes and inform stakeholders on fiscal strategies.
  • Develop and uphold financial controls, actively participating in risk management and resolution strategies to enhance organizational governance.
  • Coordinate and guide financial operations for global health initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of budgeting and strategic financial planning.
  • Facilitate collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to refine financial forecasting, resource allocation, and expenditure tracking.
  • Oversee the financial compliance of international projects, enhancing methodologies and tools for improved accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with project teams and financial departments to ensure alignment with financial policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a closely related field, with at least three to five years of relevant experience in financial analysis and planning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling complex financial data and proficiency in applying GAAP principles in a dynamic organizational setting.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to scrutinize financial information and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in managing finances for federally funded international projects, with a deep understanding of contractual and regulatory financial requirements.
