Job Description

Sr Dir/ Director Medical Operational Lead drives continuous improvement, ensures high operational standards, coordinates strategic projects, and fosters a culture of excellence in medical and clinical operations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and implement best practices, particularly in field medical excellence, medical insights, and medical education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the VP and Medical Affairs Leadership Team on strategic projects.
  • Develop and manage strategic plans for medical operations.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead projects from planning to evaluation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and conduct audits.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and deliver training programs to build operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Lead change management efforts for successful implementation of initiatives.
  • Assess industry best practices and internal needs to enhance medical impact.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) preferred.
  • 8-12 years of experience in medical or clinical operations, preferably in Medical Affairs.
  • Knowledge of operational excellence methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • US launch experience required.
  • Strong project management, data analysis, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure regulatory compliance.
