Job Description
Sr Dir/ Director Medical Operational Lead drives continuous improvement, ensures high operational standards, coordinates strategic projects, and fosters a culture of excellence in medical and clinical operations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and implement best practices, particularly in field medical excellence, medical insights, and medical education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the VP and Medical Affairs Leadership Team on strategic projects.
- Develop and manage strategic plans for medical operations.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead projects from planning to evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and conduct audits.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Design and deliver training programs to build operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
- Lead change management efforts for successful implementation of initiatives.
- Assess industry best practices and internal needs to enhance medical impact.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) preferred.
- 8-12 years of experience in medical or clinical operations, preferably in Medical Affairs.
- Knowledge of operational excellence methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- US launch experience required.
- Strong project management, data analysis, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure regulatory compliance.
