Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and office management
- HR duties including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, benefits, and supervising staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and improvement plans
- Understand and implement firm policies and procedures
- Ensure payroll is timely with no errors, track employee PTO
- Act as the main point of contact for vendors and building management
- Track metrics and create reports
- Organize events for the firm, as needed
- Help maintain a positive and professional work environment
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience handling operations and HR, ideally at a small-mid size law firm
- Experience implementing policies and putting procedures in place
- Familiarity with HR laws and regulations
- Previous supervisory/management experience
- Ability to work independently and also work well as a team
- Collaborative, adaptable and proactive
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
