    A boutique law firm in Manhattan is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team. Seeking a candidate with hands-on experience in HR (including recruiting, onboarding, training), office management and overseeing operations within a small office.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and office management
  • HR duties including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, benefits, and supervising staff
  • Conduct performance evaluations and improvement plans
  • Understand and implement firm policies and procedures
  • Ensure payroll is timely with no errors, track employee PTO
  • Act as the main point of contact for vendors and building management
  • Track metrics and create reports
  • Organize events for the firm, as needed
  • Help maintain a positive and professional work environment

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience handling operations and HR, ideally at a small-mid size law firm
  • Experience implementing policies and putting procedures in place
  • Familiarity with HR laws and regulations
  • Previous supervisory/management experience
  • Ability to work independently and also work well as a team
  • Collaborative, adaptable and proactive
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
