Registered Nurse

Responsibilities of OR Circulator / Perioperative Services Registered Nurse:

·      Serve as Operating Room Circulating Nurse / Surgical Services RN in a dynamic multi-specialty ASC

·      Function as Perioperative RN managing all aspects of operating room workflow and patient care

·      Lead surgical team coordination as primary OR nurse, including room setup and turnover

·      Ensure proper positioning, prepping, and draping of surgical patients

·      Monitor and maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures

·      Maintain comprehensive surgical services documentation in EHR system

·      Coordinate interdisciplinary communication between OR team members as circulator

·      Support quality metrics and regulatory compliance as Surgical Services nurse

·      Anticipate surgical team needs and maintain efficient OR workflow

·      Mentor new perioperative nursing staff

·      State-of-the-art perioperative equipment and surgical technology

·      High-volume ASC environment with diverse surgical caseload

·      Competitive hourly rate: $55 – $65 per hour for experienced OR RN

·      Monday-Friday schedule, no call required

Qualifications for Operating Room RN / Surgical Services Nurse:

·      Active California Registered Nurse license required

·      Current BLS and ACLS certification

·      BSN preferred for OR Nurse role

·      CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) certification preferred

·      Operating Room / Surgical Services RN experience

·      Proven experience as Circulating RN in multiple surgical specialties

·      In-depth knowledge of surgical procedures as OR Nurse

·      Expert communication skills required for Perioperative RN position

·      Physical stamina for Operating Room Nurse duties
