Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daily and long-term operations of the Inpatient Rehab Unit, a 20-bed unit.
  • Direct and supervise a dedicated team of Registered Nurses, Charge Nurses, CNAs, techs, and other ancillary staff.
  • Collaborate closely with RN Directors, CNO, and the executive leadership team to optimize patient flow and ensure high-quality care.
  • Oversee staff development, performance evaluations, and mentoring within the Rehabilitation Unit.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in inpatient rehabilitation services.
  • Foster a supportive and cohesive work environment for all team members.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nursing License in the State of Texas.
  • 3-5 years of experience in adult inpatient medical surgical or rehabilitation services.
  • Prior managerial or supervisory experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation care standards and patient care protocols.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
