Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the comprehensive functioning of the 50-person Operating Room team
- Coordinating patient care across 7 operating rooms that spans two floors
- Implementing strategies to optimize new operational capacity
- Maintaining seamless patient care during 23-hour stays
- Managing operational integration of two additional operating rooms
- Developing staffing models for expanded surgical capacity
- Coordinating patient flow across new and existing surgical offerings
- Supporting Assistant Nurse Managers that lead day and night shift transitions
- Implementing quality improvement initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Master's degree in Nursing/Healthcare Management (preferred)
- CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification highly preferred
- Nursing leadership experience in:
- Operating Room charge nurse roles
- OR supervisor positions
- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) management
