Job Description

The Corporate Receptionist is primarily responsible to answer the main multi-phone line system during assigned shift. Answers inquiries or directs inquires to appropriate parties. Provides administrative assistance as well as support to overall site. 

Qualifications

  • Answer, screen and forward incoming calls on a busy corporate phone system efficiently during assigned shift with a high level of customer service and positive demeanor.
  • Answer inquiries or directs inquiries to the appropriate party according to company procedures.
  • Assists with scheduling and organizing activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities. 
  • Handles confidential information discretely.
  • Sorts, reviews and manages mail appropriately. 
  • Types and designs general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, PowerPoint presentations, publishing documents, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
  • Exercises sound judgment in addressing and proactively managing daily business issues with minimal direction.
  • Maintains an orderly, logical paper and digital filing system to facilitate immediate retrieval of documents.
  • Completes other clerical duties as assigned.
  • Supports HR department with New Hire Orientation (creation of business cards, catering service, and name plates).

 

Education Requirements:                                 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

 

Experience Requirements:                 

  • Requires two or more years of successful administrative experience. Requires professional experience in working with senior-level executives within and outside the company, as well as customers, vendors, visitors, and others.
