Job Description
Job Summary:
The Senior Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Automation Governance Analyst will support the design, implementation, and management of governance frameworks for AI and Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) technologies, ensuring their ethical, transparent, and compliant use across the organization. The analyst will work closely with the AI & Automation Governance Lead and various stakeholders to ensure adherence to governance policies, standards, and best practices.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of AI and automation projects from a governance perspective. Ensure that projects adhere to governance frameworks and comply with relevant policies and standards.
2. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operational, and IT departments, to promote and enforce governance practices. Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide guidance on governance-related issues. Support the AI & Automation Governance Program by managing the AI & Automation Governance Committee and other key stakeholder relationships / groups (e.g., clinical champions, relationships with IT departments, and the cross functional AI & Automation Working Group).
3. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive documentation of governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures. Ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping for compliance and audit purposes. Promote awareness of governance policies and standards.
4. Governance Framework Development: Assist in the design and implementation of governance frameworks for AI and automation technologies. Develop and maintain policies, standards, and best practices to ensure the ethical, secure, and compliant use of AI and automation.
5. Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor and ensure compliance with in-house policies and external regulatory requirements and industry standards related to AI and IPA. Manage AI Intake & Risk Assessment processes. Perform AI Risk Assessments for each vendor and in-house solution that involves AI.
6. Performance Measurement and Reporting: Work with the AI Return on Investment (ROI) Analyst to identify quantitative and quantitative metrics for appropriately measuring effectiveness for each AI use-case. Update reports on governance activities, compliance status, and risk assessments. Utilize data analytics to identify trends, measure ROI, and support data-driven decision-making.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving governance frameworks and processes. Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in AI governance.
8. Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI, automation, data governance, or a related field.
3. Proven experience in developing and implementing governance frameworks.
4. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to AI and automation.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
8. Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques.
9. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
1. Advanced degree preferred.
2. Project / Program management experience preferred.
