Job Description
Title: Leasing Consultant
Key Responsibilities
- Assess eligibility and manage continued participation for applicants and tenants.
- Conduct client interviews and oversee certification, recertification, and interim reviews.
- Process rent increase requests and negotiate rental terms with landlords.
- Enter and maintain accurate data records in compliance with program regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, landlords, and internal teams.
- Educate participants and landlords on program guidelines and regulations.
- Market the Voucher Program and monitor clients for compliance.
- Submit referrals as necessary for additional client support services.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree but not required.
- 2+ years of experience in leasing, property management, or housing compliance.
- Experience with Housing Choice Voucher, Tax Credit, or other subsidized housing programs is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Compliance experience preferred.
