OR Circulator Nurse Position

Job Requirements

The OR Circulator Nurse must possess:

• Current California RN license in good standing with recent OR circulating experience
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, particularly in spine, orthopedic, and pain management specialties
• Experience with surgical safety protocols and sterile technique
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and surgery scheduling systems
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration

Job Responsibilities

The OR Circulator Nurse will:

• Coordinate and manage operating room activities before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Perform surgical counts and maintain sterile field integrity
• Document all aspects of patient care, including equipment used and implants
• Assist anesthesia providers with patient positioning and monitoring
• Coordinate with surgical team members to ensure efficient room turnover
• Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
• Support scrub technicians and other OR team members as needed
• Travel between multiple ambulatory surgery centers within Northern Los Angeles County as needed
