Job Description

Title: Operations Technology Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Company Administrator for field technology applications, managing enterprise settings, permissions, and standardizations.
  • Maintain and manage Procore, including company directories, project setup, and the Procore Training Center, while providing quarterly training for Project Super Users.
  • Oversee application integrations, ensuring seamless connection between various platforms.
  • Conduct quarterly project audits to assess adherence to company standards for technology usage.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Safety, Scheduling, Sustainability, Design, and VDC teams to define technology standards and track KPIs.
  • Support Preconstruction teams with technology solutions for bidding, estimating, and procurement processes.
  • Work with Accounting departments to standardize financial tools within Procore and SAP.
  • Develop and manage Power BI dashboards using Procore Analytics to provide stakeholders with critical insights.
  • Stay up-to-date on software product releases, attending webinars and disseminating relevant information to teams.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews with Procore Customer Success teams to identify gaps and improvements.
  • Work with project teams to evaluate and beta test new technology, determining feasibility for enterprise-wide implementation.
  • Lead contract negotiations with executives and legal teams for application usage agreements.
  • Train end-users on operational technology platforms and promote best practices across the organization.
  • Establish and oversee technology best practices, SOPs, and an operational team to refine and improve existing standards.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in construction operations, technology implementation, or project management.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong expertise in Procore, Kahua, Fieldwire, SAP, and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of construction operations, project budgeting, and technology solutions.
  • Experience managing application integrations and enterprise software settings.
  • Ability to develop training programs and support operational teams with technology adoption.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage a team of application developers and drive enterprise-wide technology improvements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and process efficiency.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with executives, operational teams, and technology vendors.
