    A high-end hospitality group seeks a VP of Marketing. The ideal candidate would have 10-15 years of marketing experience, recently in a leadership position, with experience managing, overseeing all aspects of marketing/communications, & driving strategy.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees current marketing/communications team
  • Fields PR requests, projects, events, and collaborations in line with the brand
  • Guides strategy on press outreach, including messaging in press releases, creation of press kits and materials, interview preparation, and responses to media requests
  • Cultivate and oversee high-value relationships with brands and create a strategy around partnerships
  • Present quarterly partnership revenue for active joint marketing, product placements, co-branded events, and sponsorships
  • Build and nurture relationships with top-tier brands, influencers, and industry leaders
  • Act as the primary point of contact for management deal brands
  • Oversees internal and external graphic designers
  • Reviews and approves all assets before publication
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate an annual marketing and communications plan
  • Launch creative campaigns and initiatives that resonate including social and online media, print media, direct mail and other multimedia
  • Manage third party production vendors including
  • Oversees shoots and reviews all shoot material for approval of release
  • Participate in industry events to support and promote the brand
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and senior leadership to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging
  • Collaborate with the content teams to maintain visual and verbal brand consistency across all touchpoints
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), using data insights to optimize engagement and retention
  • Establish goals and create strategy for meeting marketing deliverables and metrics; work with Directors to establish team and individual goals and metrics
  • Works with the Corporate Controller and Directors to develop annual budgets for marketing & communications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field
  • 10-15 years of marketing and branding experience, with leadership experience, ideally out of high-end hospitality or luxury retail environment
  • Communicates information effectively and efficiently, especially when managing a team or liaising with departments
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite or other similar design software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates positive leadership characteristics, which inspires team members to meet and exceed standards
  • Experience writing and editing projects; portfolio of relevant previous projects highly preferred
