Job Description

CPA firm in midtown Manhattan seeking an Office Administrator for a fully on-site position. Hours are 9-5 with some overtime expected during the busy season (end Jan-April, Sept-Oct).

Responsibilities:

-Ensure office procedures, deadlines, and standards are followed while providing internal support to the accounting team. Maintain and update client records, files, and databases with personal financial information.

-Supervise and coordinate office functions and tasks to maximize efficiency.

-Handle client communications, including phone calls and emails for appointment scheduling and screening, and provide support to office colleagues as required.

-Assist the executive team with fundamental bookkeeping duties and help prepare and distribute tax documents essential for a Certified Public Accounting firm.

-Contribute to the generation of quarterly and yearly financial reports with minimal supervision, as well as assist with diverse projects during the year.

Qualifications:

-2-3 years experience minimum at a CPA or accounting firm
