Senior Estimator – Columbus, OH
We are seeking an Estimator for a well-established construction management firm in Columbus, OH. This role is ideal for an experienced preconstruction professional with strong conceptual and hard bid estimating skills who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preconstruction and estimating process for commercial, light industrial, and multifamily projects.
- Develop accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure competitive and comprehensive proposals.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and market conditions to determine costs and risks.
- Manage subcontractor and vendor pricing, ensuring alignment with project budgets and schedules.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial, light industrial or multifamily construction estimating.
- Strong background in both hard bid and conceptual estimates.
- Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Office, and construction management platforms such as Procore.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
