Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of aviation construction projects, including pre-construction, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
  • Manage project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and consultants, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and financial reports to track progress and manage costs effectively.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, airport authorities, government agencies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, TSA security protocols, and other aviation industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges through proactive planning and problem-solving.
  • Negotiate contracts and change orders with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment and mentor junior project managers and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in construction project management, with aviation project experience recently
  • Extensive knowledge of airport construction, terminal expansions, runways, and related infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations, airport security, and aviation safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for project oversight and coordination.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on projects within major U.S. airports.
  • LEED certification or experience with sustainable construction practices.
