Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a Middle Office/Trade Support to join our team. This role will involve supporting trading operations across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and commodities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of trade lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide trade support for various asset classes, ensuring accurate trade capture, confirmation, and settlement processes.
  • Collaborate with front office traders and operations teams to resolve trade discrepancies and operational issues.
  • Monitor and manage trade flows, ensuring timely and accurate processing of trades.
  • Conduct trade reconciliations and ensure that positions and cash balances are accurately reflected in systems.
  • Assist in the implementation of new trading strategies and systems, providing necessary support during the transition.
  • Generate and analyze reports related to trade activity, performance, and operational metrics for management review.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in middle office, trade support, or operations roles within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle and processes for multiple asset classes.
  • Proficiency in trade management systems and tools; experience with SQL or Excel for data analysis is a plus.
