Job Description

An established organization in the financial services industry is seeking an HR professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in HR, with a strong background in Compensation & Benefits Administration, Performance Management, and Employee Relations/Employment Law.

Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote

Salary: $100-120K depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct compensation and benefits market surveys, compile reports, and develop proposals for management.
  • Administer the annual corporate-wide review process and LTIP program, preparing related materials and management reports.
  • Liaise with HR Specialist, management, and counsel to resolve employee relations issues and employment matters.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on compensation and benefits programs.
  • Update leave policies and coordinate leave administration for assigned groups.
  • Collaborate with HR teams and external vendors on special projects and HR initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and perform reporting, record-keeping, and audits.
  • Monitor and implement applicable legal requirements such as wage & hour laws and benefits regulations.
  • Conduct audits and propose improvements for efficiency in HR processes.
  • Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional societies.
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with expertise in Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, and Employee Relations.
  • Financial services industry experience required; asset management experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office, databases, and compensation/performance review systems (Bamboo HR is a plus).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Flexible and resourceful team player, able to adapt to change and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
