Administrative Assistant
Fully on-site in Hempstead
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch
Pay- $25/hr.
Temporary – on-going
Responsibilities:
- Managing calendars to support efficient scheduling.
- Assisting with event planning to ensure seamless execution of programs and initiatives.
- Placing orders and processing reimbursements while tracking expenses with precision.
- Maintaining a professional telephone manner, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Handling confidential materials with discretion and professionalism.
- Drafting and proofreading documents with strong writing skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Previous experience in higher education is a plus, adding valuable insight to this role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
