Superintendent – Dayton, Ohio

A well-established real estate development and construction firm is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the successful execution of multifamily construction projects in Dayton, Ohio. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background in site supervision, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain workflow and productivity.
  • Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe job site.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules while proactively addressing delays or challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and ownership teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and progress updates.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in construction site supervision, preferably in multifamily or commercial projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents.
